About Myself -
Ethan Ashby

I am a Phoenix Valley native, born and raised. I've see firsthand the exponential growth that has happened across our state and have watched (and felt) how this has affect housing for many families. Between home additions to fit growing families, casitas to house aging family members (young and old) in a more affordable way, and new construction on the outskirts of town where the price of land is still digestible, I relish finding creative solutions to the housing need all around us.

My Story

My family moved to Queen Creek just after I turned 9 years old and it was a very different world at the time. My friends and I grew up riding bikes in the dirt where most of Queen Creek Marketplace is now located and I remember the nearest grocery stores being 15-20 minutes away. For those familiar with the Queen Creek and San Tan Valley area today, 20 minutes away now gets us to at least a dozen different grocery stores. The growth in the Valley has been incredible!

Not long after moving to Queen Creek, I became very interested (and very talented) at art. I had an incredible art teacher in Junior High that pushed me hard and this led to my eventual interest in home design! I still have an old drawing that I did as a kid of our first Queen Creek home. Between a talent for art, an obsession with technology, and a hyper-fixation on detail, home design and drafting became the perfect career.

My professional career with CAD officially began while working for a contractor at Intel where I worked in the BIM (Building Information Modeling) department. Though I excelled in the company and climbed the rankings quickly, Covid hit. The many restrictions put into place in those factories and the move to remote work resulted in many leaving and finding new employment - myself included.

This led me to starting planned RITE. The overwhelming demand for house plans at the time allowed for rapid growth of my company and the amazing opportunity to have now created hundreds of designs for families across the state (and even across the country)!

I live in Queen Creek with my wife of over 10 years and our 3 beautiful children. I enjoy spending time with the family, participating actively and serving in our church and community, and I am a bit of a car nut (1990s JDM!) - so I absolutely love designing a good garage.

I love what I do and am beyond proud of the work that we have accomplished. If you or anyone you know is needing more space, I would be glad to discuss how I can help!
